Buekorps is a Bergen tradition, originating from an old „police force“ or brigades of citizens. Buekops are groups of children (mainly boys), who practice marching, drumming and different formations in the streets of Bergen. Visiting Bergen, take a look in the old harbor. On the left you will find the historic harbor district Bryggen, and in the back, Mount Ulriken – the highest mountain in Bergen. Bergen is surrounded by one of the world’s most spectacular tourist attractions – the Norwegian Fjords. The city has a leading position within all the major Norwegian exports: energy, seafood and maritime industry.
