The Free Hanseatic City of Bre­men is also a fed­eral state. Among the sights to see there is the beau­ti­ful City Hall, the seat of the Pres­i­dent of the Sen­ate and of the Mayor. It is one of the most im­por­tant ex­am­ples of brick gothic ar­chi­tec­ture in Eu­rope.
