Guld­borgsund Mu­nic­i­pal­ity - Den­mark

Part­ner­ship with Ro­s­tock since 2014

Every year around 50.000 guests come to Guld­borgsund Mu­nic­i­pal­ity to ex­pe­ri­ence the au­then­tic Me­dieval Cen­tre which fea­tures me­dieval houses and daily life, as well as the re-en­act­ment of great knight tour­na­ments. You can also sun­bathe at the Marielyst Tourism Re­sort, a 20 km long white sandy beach, which has re­peat­edly been awarded the ti­tle of the best beach in Den­mark.

You can also visit the Fuglsang Kun­st­mu­seum, a re­gional art mu­seum with a per­ma­nent col­lec­tion of high qual­ity Dan­ish paint­ings and sculp­tures dat­ing back to the 1780s-1980s. The mu­nic­i­pal­ity is a part of “Greater Copen­hagen” and ben­e­fits from the in­ter­na­tion­ally sig­nif­i­cant rail and road con­nec­tion Ham­burg-Copen­hagen.
