International Association of Peace Messenger Cities (IAPMC)
The International Association of Peace Messenger Cities was established in 1985 with the support of the United Nations to recognize and encourage the role and responsibility cities have in creating a culture of peace.
Rostock has been a member of the network since 2017 and is the 2nd German member city in this association next to Friedrichshafen. Today, the network comprises 112 cities on six continents. The aim of the association is to work for peace and international understanding worldwide.
